Hi, my name is Nemoria, but my friends call me Neems. I am a 40-year-young woman of Mexican-American descent. I was born in Florida, but I have lived all over the states and Mexico. I am sweet, humble, loyal, and honest. All qualities I've developed since being in prison. Before coming to prison, I was in the throe of a full-blown addiction. I've caused a lot of damage, pain, suffering, and have done horrible things due to the lack of willpower over my addiction. Those are choices and mistakes I can never take back or change. However, I am a completely different person now. I could never list why and in how many ways in this short introductory letter.

I spend most of my time here in the eyeglass program working and studying while chasing my dream of becoming an optometrist someday. I am currently certified as an optician and paraoptometric. I am also studying for my NCLE, CPOA, and CPOT certifications as well. I will test next year in May. The rest of my time is spent nurturing important relationships and working out regularly to stay mentally sane and in shape.

I am accepting, open-minded, and want to make lasting friendships, connections, and possibly something deeper that will extend beyond these walls.
