I'd like to start this as if we've just been introduced... since we have... and are starting to get to know each other. For openers, I enjoy jet skiing, boating, parasailing and horseback riding, and especially riding on the back of a motorcycle! You might say I love the wind in my hair on land or water. I've traveled quite a bit around the United States and Mexico. I have a warm spot in my heart for two places in particular: Boulder, Colorado for the snow pack, and North Dakota in the summer for bike riding.

I enjoy the Zen of a long walk on a beach. I'm more a sunset girl than a sunrise girl, although I appreciate both. On rainy days, I can be found curled up with a good book, reading and listening to the surrounding storm.

Well, enough about the elements and outdoor sports. My favorite pastime is hunkering in with my kids and catching some movies with popcorn and tons of butter and salt, and plain M&Ms, just because. I'd tell you my five favorite movies, but I'll save that for a future letter.

I'd love to find someone to carry an ongoing conversation with - likes, dislikes, what we share, where are differences are (right-handed, left-handed, cats, dogs, Ginger or Maryann).

I'm assuming because you are perusing this site that you have some knowledge or experience with incarceration - so there is no judgment on either side. Life is so much more than this. It is only a chapter in our story.
