Hello. My name is Brandy McKee. I would first like to describe myself to you. I am tri-racial and what does that mean, you may ask. I am African-American, native American, and Caucasian. I have light brown to medium brown hair color. Sometimes I wear it in braids and sometimes I wear it straight and sometimes I wear it curly, it all depends on how I feel that day. I have hazel eyes.

I was born on the 4th of July and that has always been my trademark. I love the summertime and outdoors cooking on the grill, riding 4-wheelers, camping in the woods and fishing, swimming, planting flowers, justbeing outside has always been my passion when it comes to activities. Some may say I'm very hyper and talkative and I love people and meeting new people and having conversations with anyone different, new, or the same as myself.

I would also like to let you know I am a mother of a very smart, cute young boy. I love my son with all my heart. He means the world to me. He always has and always will.

This time I'm spending in prison has taught me the value of true love and how much I really have lost being in my son's life. Before I came to prison I was in a bad place from my bad choices of lifestyle and habits. I used drugs to cover up my feelilngs and my responsibilities. Yes, I was in a very toxic relationship with a lot of domestic violence in the form of verbal and physical abuse and manipulation. And unfortunately that came to an abrupt end with him losing his life and me pulling time. I feel like I needed to share that with someone so I could be truthful and upfront because I am not that person I used to be. I am changing. I am learning how to deal with emotions and individuals that try to wrongfully influence me. Yes, at one time I was a victim but that is my past.

I'm very interested in finding and talking to and making new friends to hear about their exciting lives, as well as the things that they do in their everyday life because in prison it is the same thing over and over again every day. So, that's why I want to meet new people and make new friends.
